Default Newbie - Will 285/65/18 tires fit without lifting?

I have a 2011 2 door S and am looking to upgrade my wheels and tires to 18" KMC XD Monsters with 285/65/18 Nitto Trail Graplers. I believe that this combo is just under 33". My Jeep is not lifted and I would prefer not to lift it. It is a daily driver that will not see offroad use. Will they fit without rubbing or should I look for a smaller combo?

Thanks

I would love to see pics once you install. Wheels are on my list to do in the next few months.

Thanks - I am getting inconsistent answers from sellers. Some say they'll rub and that, at a minimum, I'll need a leveling kit, and others say they will fit stock. Not sure who to believe.

sellers r just trying to make an extra buck if u dont plan on going off road u will b just fine even if u do go off road u would really have to do some flexing to rub at all ... Just do it..

I have an 08 Rubicon that I don't want to lift but do want to put the biggest tires I can using stock wheels.

I was thinking about TOYO M/T LT295/70R17 128P E/10 (33X11.50R17) tires. Will these fit and should I get a spacer?

My other option were the TOYO M/T LT265/70R17 121P E/10 tires.

Here is a nice link on all the TOYO tire sizes, etc:

Default Tires

TOYO M/T LT295/70R17 I think are too wide for stock rims. I just sold a set off my truck. I rolled one up against my stock tire 255/70/R18 or 32.2" the TOYO 295'70/17 were lot wider and about 1" taller. I would go with a narrower tire. The weight of the TOYO is about 30lbs heavier, not good either.

Thanks for your comment.

Having done some more research, including reading all the posts on this forum that I could find on tires, I'm thinking of doing the following:

1. Get new wheels rather than use spacers ( - maybe the ProComp 7069 (or Ultra Type 164 at TireRack - sent note to them to see if/how much offset the wheels had):

http://bit.ly/ultrawheeltype164

2. Re-evaluating tires - my main uses are a combination of road/highway, farm (lots of mud, swamp) and snow/ice (especially now).

Any suggestions appreciated.

I'm trying to do the same thing but with the new rockstars machined face, backspacing is 5.00 with 00 offset , looking at 285/65/18 will this rub?

My km2 285/70/17 are rubbing on front sway bar at full turn, for 295, expect more rubbing issue when full turn unless you add wheelspacer or 4.5-4.75 BS wheels.

If you plan on going offroad / disconecting swaybar, a 1'' body lift or leveling kit is necessary. My km2 rub a little at full flex
