Anybody have problems with Rugged Ridge headlight guards? I bought my jeep (used) with the headlight guards on already. Is it fixable (I have the rod that broke off) or would it be easier to go without them?

Kind of a crappy picture, but you get the idea.

 

Pull it off and have it welded by a buddie... I bought a broken set on e-bay for 4 bucks and put them on a year ago and they have lasted fine after welding and re-painting.

 

They replace the factory retainer ring so if you remove it you will need to find factory rings....
