Default Banks or AEM CAI?

I've searched around the forum and haven't really found anything directly comparing the two. The only negative I've read about the AEM is the shield rattling. I've also read about the recommendations that CAI's aren't worth it. And a snorkel really isn't something I'm going for right now.
Soooo....
Any thoughts as to one or the other?
Anyone ever get thrown a code after installing one?
Thanks for the posts.
