Default 2.5" teraflex coil lift questions

Anybody had any trouble with this lift or had any problems arise after installation?

I've read that you can get away with not replacing drive shafts on a 2 door 6 speed anybody with a 2 door have any trouble?

How necessary are front lower and rear upper control arms?

Thanks in advance

with a 2-door 6-speed, you will be just fine with this kit

front lowers are only needed if you feel like your jeep is flightly on the highway. if after installing the lift, you don't have this sensation, you will not need them. also, you only need rear uppers if you plan on getting a replacement u-joint style drive shaft. at 2.5" of lift, this will not be necessary for quite some time.

yeah, the caster on JK's right from the factory is really shallow and adding a bit more positive caster using adjustable lower control arms would help to fix this.

I'm thinking on top of the lift at a minimum I want to get adjustable front and rear track bars and front lower control arms.

I installed this on my 2011 Unlimited and have no issues with it at all. I was told I should get adjustable lower control arms as well, but until I need them I am not going to spend the money for them.

an adjustable rear track bar is not needed with this kit as it comes with a relocation bracket that will do the same job and well. up front, it would definitely be nice to have an adjustable front track bar so that you can recenter your axle but, it really isn't "necessary" to have.

x2 on this. Your better off with a set of front lower adj arms than a rear adj. trackbar.

Were you sure to follow the instructions and loosen your control arm bolts and track bar bolts? Then jump up and down and push side to side on your Jeep while it has all 4 tires on the ground and sitting normally? Then you torque them. That should eliminate the flighty steering and the need for adjustable lowers.

I did this lift on my 07 2dr this past summer. I did Front LCA's and front adjustable track bar. I figured since I was down there, I might as well do it all at once so I dont have to rip everything apart again. It was worth it. It tracks well at high speeds. I have had no issues with the lift at all. TF did a nice job putting this kit together
