Default Currie Johnny Joint not taking grease where it should...

I have a Currie front trackbar with the Johnny Joint at the axle end. It from day one does not take grease right.

Instead of the grease coming out around the ball in the center it comes out around the outer edge of the joint by the snap ring.

I have tried removing the joint and rotating the ball around with a screwdriver and still the grease does not come out around the ball. It is bones dry around the ball.

Any ideas?

Yeah they told me to take it out and move the ball by hand, no go.

Guess I just have to order a new joint?

They may send you a replacement for free, they are good people. Try that before you go buy one.

Yea call currie. They sent me new boots for my tie rod bar. They also told me those joints don't need a lot of grease like a typical end because there is no wearable plastic insert. It might have enough grease and what your seeing is excess squeezing out..I was greasing mine till it came out and made a mess.
They said 1 or 2 pumps max every oil change. It might be different for your joint idk.

How do you like the currie tie rod? Did it make any difference in steering? Also where does the grease come out on those?
