Default Is it Ok to put heated seats between seat and covers?

Ok i have a neoprene seat covers and want to add a heated seat kit. My ?, can i put the heaters between the seat and the cover instead of inside of the seat?

Many have done this and I haven't heard of any problems. I did this with my last vehicle.
