Unhappy Someone Vandalized my Jeep

Today while i was at school someone decided it would be funny to open my hood and smear a sausage and cheese sandwich all over my windshield, which brought me to point of needing to upgrade my security so that no one would be able to tamper with my hood or my gas. i ordered the rampage hood lock and a lockable gas cover,

I really want to know if anyone here has this hood lock and if its effective, or could recommend me any other ones.

Also just to keep you guys aware, jeeps are probably the easiest cars to steal and break into.

it's just for looks, not protection. . .

Yup. They probably are. Sorry to hear about your "incident". Some people are assholes. With any luck they'll all be horribly disfigured soon and us Jeepers can rule the world.

Who'd waste a perfectly good sandwich like that? Sounds delicious.

what the hell is a sausage and cheese sandwich? literally just cheese with a sausage?
I would park the Jeep in the same spot and camp out with a can of cheeze-whiz and a string of raw sausage...then make them eat it.

I feel your pain! Over the years I have had stolen off my Jeep: CB antennas (even with a dab of locktite), really cheap car seat covers, CD carriers on and on. People were also kind enough to put their trash in my jeep, at least it got thrown away properly. Good luck!

Ha! My buddies think it's funny to open my hood and pull my starter fuse so I freak out and they all laugh. I think it's funny too but not when i go to start my baby and she doesn't budge :(. Hood locks might be a good idea. I have a viper python alarm system on my rig and it has a hood sensor that sets the alarm off when the hood is opened. Most of the time the jeep is unlocked when I'm at friends.....bad idea....

I hope Jeep comes out with an inside hood release-with a hard top, that's a lock. There's extra holes on the radiator support,& on the hood-maybe a Cherokee inside hood release would work..

I had an exposed locking gas cap on my TJ and it got crudded up quickly. On the JK, I got a locking cap but also put a non locking door on it. I don't think I'll have a problem with the cap now. Something to consider.
