Default Just picked up and installed my Uni-Chip!

Well I just picked up my Uni Chip after months of waiting. So far I'm impressed by the increase of power in 1st - 4th gears with less delay in engine engagement when shifting/ noticebly livlier. Took it for a spin on the highway and not as noticeable in 5th and 6th gears. The chip comes with two possible modes, aggressive timing and less aggressive timing controlled by a switch. Although the more aggressive timing mode requires higher octane fuel and have not tried it yet, till I need to fill up again than I'll give it a try. Weird thing is I normally get about 15-16 mpg with AEM intake and Magnaflow Exhaust on otherwise a stock Rubicon and now instantly it says 18.5 mpg, but I'm doubting it is very accurate. The install took like 2o min if that, extremely easy! So far pleased with the results.

The chip is also programmable by a authorized dealer to the work with all the mods such as the intake/exhaust, but I'm going to wait till I get headers in before I program for the modifications I have.

I didn't think the plug and play was out yet. Is this a hard wire?

The unit connects directly into the jk's computer via a wire harness and acts as a bypass or an extension of the already existing plugs in the computer, but the unit itself contains two slots one for wiring harness and another empty slot for the authorized tuner's device. I'm not quite sure if the plug n play device is available yet or whether or not it plugs right into the empty slot, but I am told can be programmed by a authorized tuner. Than spliced of the new wiring harness is a control switch for aggressive or less aggressive timing that can be either left in the engine bay or installed inside the jk since it has a good couple feet of access wiring for the switch to be placed as wanted.
