Default need help on lift

I have 15x8 inch wheels for my 2007 Wrangler with 3.75bs. I am stock height with 17's and 33's now. I'm wanting to get a spacer kit that would clear 35/ 12.50 tires. I would go to a susension kit but am low on money now. My wheels are still for sale in the for sale forum. I just want to know if the spacers are a good way to go. I know I can get them for $160 for 2 inch. Would this clear my tires?

I wanna reword this a little different. I can spend around $800 but don't really want to go much over that but I can a little. What would be a good kit? I looked at a 3 inch kit for about $800 but I think with labor it was twice that if not more.

Yes, I would recommend getting a TeraFlex 2.5" Budget Boost as it will allow you to do what you want and for cheap

Thanks alot guys, and this kit does come 2 1/2 I take it. The shop where I went said 2 but I guess its close enough I just want to clear a 35/12.50. Is this kit hard to get on? It is just spacers but I don't know how hard it is. My first 4x4 that I have wanted to lift. Again thanks alot. Its hard to beat a 2.5 lift for 225 maybe later on down the road something a little better.

Also, what gearing would I need for a 35in tire? I have an 07 Wrangler 2dr manual.

Follow the instructions posted in the write up section for the Tera 2.5" BB. The intsructions provided with the kit suck. WOL did a great job detailing what you would need. If you have tools, a floor jack, and jack stands, you can do it. Trust me. If I did it, anyone can. On the other hand, after I got all the stuff I needed to do it, I spent about $230, which would have more than covered having the lift installed. The difference is that now I have those tools and continue to use them.
