Thumbs down New BFG KM2 review dissapointing.

I just got the new issue of 4wd magazine and they have a review of the BFG KM2. One of the captions say, "In mild mud and wet driving conditions, they worked well." Other than that, the review does not mention ANYTHING about mud. It says, "it works well in hardcore rock crawling and in the harsh deserts of California and we've also used it on Colorado's mountain passes."

These are supposed to be MUD terrains, right? So, why only mild mud? If these are the best on rocks and just mediocre in the heavy mud, they need to be BFG Rock terrains.

If I didn't live in South Florida where the mud was overwhelming, I would be pleased with this review, but I would still think a Mud Terrain should be jut that - Mud first, all other terrain after.

That review sounds good for me. I dont plan on going in the mud...mostly trails and rocks.

It is my understanding the KM's and the KM2's are to be offered side by side. If your worried about the KM2's mud manners stay with the KM's. It should be very obvious just by looking at the KM2's tread mud is NOT there priority.

Well everything that ive heard about them from people who have run them say they work very well in the mud. Im sure they dont work as well as bogger or even a TSL, but the KM2 is more of an all around tire and part of that "all around" includes highway driving which TSL's and Boggers are not good at.......

The disappointing part of the story for me was the lack of testing and information given. It was hardly a review at all.
It was nothing more than a quick write up telling everyone that they work and they are available. There was absolutely no detail. One of the worst stories from 4wheeldrive&sportutility I have ever seen on a new product.
