Default Brake light relocation, buying 35's

I'm getting some 35 Nitto Grapplers installed on Tuesday and I noticed that the spare mount may not accomodate a 35 inch tire as the center brake light looks like it will be in the way of a taller tire. Anyone had this issue with buying a 5th tire/wheel and was there a need to replace the spare mount?

i think you'll be fine. i run a 315/75/16 Dick Cepek Crushers on my stock tire carrier with no bumper.

The only problem you may have is hitting the factory plastic bumper and needing different tailgate bumpers.

Daystar sels replacemtn bumpers

Several companies sell a relocation bracket to fix the bumper problem.

I just put 35 duratracs on my stock Rubis, I had to get an extension to mount to stock location. Now the 3 brake light is covered. I love in AZ so it doesn't matter...

Default Thanks!!!

Thanks for the feedback, and so quick. I'll find an inexpensive relocation backet and worry about the 3rd brack light issue later. Appreciate it!
