Default Anyone regret 35s?

So I started off thinking I will get 33’s. After a while I was thinking 34’s and now I am thinking 35’s (duratracks)
Wondering if anyone regretted going with 35s? This is going to be my daily driver 60 miles per day. Hope I won’t regret it or hate the ride to work every day

I regretted going with 35"s. That is why with around 3K miles on them I put them on my sons Jeep and got me 37"s!!!

The only thing going to 35s will do is make you want to do more mods. Seriously, get some C gussets and go for it. Your in Ohio so, I'm sure you may not even want to regear. Keep telling your self you'll do 35s and no more.

Depends on your gear set and if you have auto or manual trans. If you're running at least stock 4:10s (i think only rubies and base 07-08 model years have this...09-2010 went to 3.21 stock or 3.73 with tow package) and have a 6speed than may be ok for daily driver. Anything less, I'd opt for 33s unless you plan to regear. If your planning to regear for 35s, then 4.88s should get you almost back to stock power at wheels.

I'm running 33s with 6speed and 3.73 gear set. Think it's fine for a DD. Friends ate also running 33s with auto and don't have any issues but if you research the forum you'll find plenty of people dealing with annoying power loss and auto trans gear hunting with 35s and stock gearsets.

Good luck.

i have been trying to decide between the two also. i think i made up my mind to go with 33s. i have had many lifted vehicles in the past 10 years. i have had anywhere from 33s to 40s. right now i have a yj with 38s strictly wheelin rig. i have a 06 4door f150 lifted 9"s on 37s. yes the bigger tires look good but if its a dd and just a minor wheeler then i think 33s are the way to go it gets exspensive the bigger you go. just depends on what you do with your jeep.
