Default Spacer lift/ electric sway bar

I have a 1inch tera flex spacer coming for my 2011 rubicon. I'm just trying to level the front end. I understand I will have to disc the front shocks, remove tire, watch how far I drop axle for break line.....I have elec sway bar.....can I just electronically disc it, so I can get the drop,or do I need to disc the link ends?

i just did the same just 1'' in the front, you need to unbolt the endlink that bolts to the axle and the the shock in order to lower it enough

You could use the electronic disconnect, but you have to make sure it is fully disengaged. That is, you have to be in either 4LO or 4HI and make sure the indicator light is solid (i.e. not flashing).

I think it's easier to remove the two bolts. You may get more axle drop, which will make it easier to replace the springs with the new spacers installed.

If you want to eliminate as much frustration as possible, disconnect the bottom bolts of your swaybar links. Also unbolt the brakeline bracket from the axle, its a single silver 10mm bolt that holds it and just pull your breather hose off the axle. (The breather hose slips right on and off its fitting.) These things will take 5 minutes and save you an hour of frustration.

I put 1/2" spacers on top of my 2.5" teraflex coil lift last weekend. Doing this the way I describe it was much easier to get the springs in and out...

On my 2011 there is a bolt on the axle that faces the brake rotor. It holds the brake line to the axle between the long run from the frame and the short run to the caliper. It's the only silver 10mm bolt around. When you remove this bolt the line gets about 8" more slack since it isn't attachingd to the axle anymore and runs from the frame to the caliber only. I have seen it on pics of other year jk's also so I know its not just the 2011 that have this.

Here is a pic. Notice how tight the lines are since they are still attached to a bracket on the axle, well more like the spring perch. Remove the silver bolt with washer shown in the lower right side of this pic and the lines and bracket come free from the axle. It should be noted that this is not my pic and the pictured jk is also a 2011...

Hmm.... no one ever seems to mention unbolting this bracket which made my lift install much easier. I wonder if it is only a 2011 thing?
