3.5" lift, spacers, 37s, nothing else. Can I drive it 2 street miles to the shop?

Default 3.5" lift, spacers, 37s, nothing else. Can I drive it 2 street miles to the shop?

Tires are coming in tomorrow. I am tied up all day and won't be able to get into the shop to trim the fenders, front bumper, pinch seams, etc until 6pm or so. Tire shop closes at 8, and by the time I did what I needed to do, it would be well after that.

Wondering if I could get the tires installed, then drive the two miles with just my 3.5" RC lift and 1.5" wheel spacers from Belle Tire to the garage without rubbing tire on something.

I could probably pull the air dam, and MAYBE cut the pinch seams (without prepping/painting them) and still get to the shop on time. But no way I can do the fenders or front bumper.

What do you think?

Why can't you get the lift then install the tires?

huh?

The lift is installed, as are the wheel spacers. Just don't have time to do the trimming before hitting the tire shop. Wondering if they will clear everything ok being driven on smooth streets to the shop where I will THEN be able to perform surgery.

nah, i don't think it will work without trimming the pinch, or rock rails. but try it?

the shop should do it for you if they are nice.

well maybe not a tire shop, but a good reputable 4x4 should. . .

Oh, sorry. I though you were going to put on the tires then drive it to the shop to put on the lift.

I know it’s OK with a 2.5” lift and 35s with non-stock bumpers on the road with no trimming (the rock rails and pinch seams were really close - I trimmed the rock rails later). I would think 37s with a 3.5” lift would have similar results - but I’m sure someone with 37s will chime in.
