Default Teraflex 2.5 coils vs the Rock Krawler coils

Just curious if anyone would know the ride quality of these two coil springs for a DD?

I can only comment on the springs I have, they are the TFs. I think they ride like stock. I commute 27 miles each way, and this was important to me... I am using the extensions on stock Rubi shocks also.

I dont know about the TF coils, but the RK ones with my E rated tires are a little on the stiff side, but I dont mind. I am sure the ride will soften when I switch to C or D rated tires. I am happy with them, so far, off road.

I'm using the TF coils with shock extensions and the ride is great, same distance commute as you.

Maybe it's the Bilstein 5100s that are causing a stiffer ride?

Your tire load rating has huge implications on how rough the ride is...go D or even better C load range.

The RK coils are progressive rate which is a big advantage with such a shallow lift when you add bumpers/winch etc.
TF Coils are not progressive. I have these and they ride fine with the D rated tires and bilstien 5100s

Heck I've been playing with tire psi to find the magic setting.
At 32 psi I feel road imperfections and get good MPG
At 27 psi I feel like I'm in a caddy and get 3 mpg worse.

I ride at 32

The 5100's are definitely stiffer than stock, but I still think the tires are the main reason.

TF rides nice but I got a bit of sag with bumper and winch.

Rk, no sag and good ride. Ofcourse they are stiffer than the weak stock but it feels more in control to me
