5.38s or 5.13 for an auto on 37s?
Measure the tires and plug some numbers into the chart in the faq's.
Either will work, but 5.38's would be the better ratio for 37's. The 'con' would be that as you go higher (numerically), the gears get weaker. Not as big of an issue with an auto as with a manual, but something to consider if you have a heavy foot in the rocks.

I have KM2 35's, I just got 5:38's last week.
With less than 150 miles on 5:38's, I already feel like I could use lower gearing just driving down the interstate (freeway) @ 65-75mph

I am flashed with 87 \ tow tune and I have CAI.
Maybe I need an S\C or hemi swap?

Good to know. We have 5.38 in with stock tires, was going to go 35s. Maybe I will go to a true 33 or a 34. Our Jeep goes back and forth to 'Dago several times a week, the lower gears are nice coming up the hills. Don't want to lose to many rpm's.

I was driving home today on I-5 north from Coronado Island to Leucadia blvd. I had a difficult time maintaining 70-75mph without it kicking down a gear (auto) going past PB, La Jolla, Del Mar and Solana Beach .

so it sounds like the 5.38s are preferable, how much of a difference in gas mileage is there? I live in middle tennessee and isnt too bad with the big hills, but there are some here and there.

When I had 4:10's, I was getting around 10-11mpg?

With the 5:38 gearing, I also added CAI & flash 87\tow tune at the same time.
