Default How much lift with stock driveshafts

Hey guys, I plan on getting a RC 2.5 coil lift with teraflex adjustable LCA's, and JKS adjustable track bars front and rear. I also want to use 1 inch coil spacers from my leveling kit. I dont do super serious wheeling and I want to know if I will be safe running this setup on factory drive shafts?

You also have to watch out on some autos the boot gets ripped on one of the transmission pan bolts. So the 3.5" thing really isn't a magic number.

What he said. There is no magic number, but there are builds that would be more likely or less likely to need new driveshafts.

Total lift height
Shock length
Axle centering
Type of driving
JK model
--> Luck
etc.

i also have 6in, 68,000 miles on the lift, and 81k total.and no problems... i have the auto. i just put some 1inch spacer for my cross brace to clear the front drive. the boot is still intack. my front shaft is at a very steep angle. 1 day i plan on installing a new front cv style shaft.

So there seem to be quite a few variables. I have a manual so I dont need to worry about the trans cross member issue the automatics have, and Im doing adjustable track bars so my axles should be perfectly centered. Im also going to use the shocks that come in the kit so I wont be maximizing my droop to its full potential. I feel pretty confident with this setup after reading your responses. This is my DD so im trying to make sure I get everything right the first time.
