Does anyone have the Dynomax VT muffler installed?
What do you think of it. I searched for videos but couldn't find one on a JK out there.
I'd like a nice throaty sound without being obnoxious and not too loud on inside.

We are in the process of getting one set up on WOLette's JK, Nemo.
So they will do a review soon.
We are also coming out with a cat-back exhaust system with the JK in mind near the beginning of summer.

If you wanted to get one for your JK now a local shop could incorporate it into your system no problem.

Go with muffler for the over 4.0 application. The reason being is that with how weak the 3.8 is, larger tires, bumpers etc you are always in the gas and we find that this muffler for the over 4.0 is a perfect fit in the JK.

On a few other forums people who have American muscle cars are really happy with it at highway speeds as well, and love the sound when they get on the gas.

Thanks

I've heard that sometimes the spring/flap rattles or clicks. Has that been resolved?
I want something that once I install it I won't have to replace it.
I know your products are great, I had your mufflers on my 55 F100.
I weld so I was just going to have tube bent and make mounts/ etc myself.
Thanks

The issue of the spring was resolved last summer.
The spring has been tested in over a million cycles with out any
degradation.

And don't forget about our lifetime warranty as well.

Thanks, that helps and when I get time I'll order one in.
I thought it was a 90 day warranty for some reason.

what about a builders kit instead of a cat back to help keep the costs down?

My Gibson dual cat back sounds nice but is to loud and has excesive drone for any long distance driving, going south soon pulling a trailer and my kids opinion is it may drive them crazy.

Thinking two options.

1. change to another cat back system if any will have less drone, I see Dynomax has a few options and a current rebate, would it be quieter than the the Gibson.

2. Add a straight thru muffler between the Cat and rear axle, if that aproach would work, need advice on what muffler to buy.

We are in the process of relaunching our builder parts to all, this should occur in the next month or so.
