16" wheels vs 17" wheels for daily driver?

16" wheels vs 17" wheels for daily driver?
So I'm looking at a set of wheels available in both 16x8 and 17x9, and Duratrac's to go with them in a 285 width. Other then the 16" tires being cheaper, what size wheel would be better for mostly daily driving with weekend off-roading?
