Anyone have any experience with these rails? They look like they could be used as a step quite well, which is important for the wife and kids. Had been thinking about the n-fab steps, but like these a bit better since they don't hang down as far. I searched and saw a thread on them a few years old where wol had posted some good pics, but more pics and info is always a good thing. Also, the $337 shipped price tag is pretty hard to beat.

I would be interested in info as well, do these require any drilling into the body?

I've had the Body Armor for 3 years. They are bolted to body,
not the frame. After heavy wheeling and lots of clunking down
on them, both sides now point upward. In two weeks will be replacing with
EVO sliders which are welded to the frame. BA do work well as
steps.

I put a set of those on my 2011 JKU a few weeks ago. They function quite well as a step for my wife and grandson. They mount to the pinch seam using existing holes. The brackets attach on the underside of the body just like the factory steps.

I don't know how much abuse they will take versus any other that use the pinch seam and body mount. I looked at other designs but was concerned a smaller foot could slip into the opening between the rails....it won't happen with these.

I picked mine up online for $274 and free shipping so I couldn't go wrong.

I have a pic of my Jeep in the Show and Tell section for 2011 pics. Mine is the Mango Tango page 36.

I picked my rails up for $100.00

I haven't hit any rocks with them because I don't wheel to much and I definitely don't wheel hard.

They act as a step and they are really good for stepping up into the jeep.

I am sure if I hit them with the force of my jeep rocking back and fourth, they will dent and come into my body.

As mentioned, they mount to the body and do not require any drilling.

Cool! Thanks for the pic. And I'm pretty much in the same usage zone as you. I will definitely wheel it some, but nothing to intense. Probably some mild to moderate trails at Uwharrie and in the NC mountains. And it is good to hear that these function well as a step. I had been seriously considering the N-fab setup and have come really close to ordering them on several occasions, but I just think they hang down a bit too far and could pose a problem offroad since I only plan to go with a leveling kit and 33s right now.

Anyone else got any input on these?! Thanks.

Here's a few more shots of mine. They make a good step. Probably not up to heavy duty banging but they'll work for my needs for now.

I paid nearly $500 for them 2 years ago, guess the price came down. My big issue was they started rusting within one month in the Ohio winter. Body Armor would do nothing for me. Spent another $150 sand blasting and coating with bed liner.
Poor quality finish and no support for a customer with a problem. I will never buy another product from this company.

Also bent the body when hitting rocks hard.

I just installed these from a recent amazon purchase for 280. They are heavy at 46.5 lbs each side. They are girthy, well built and have fine powder coat too. The hardware was legit, good bolts & seemingly well engineered.

But, they came pre bent like someone may have dropped them at the Chinese factory. I briefly contemplated sending them back but shipping would have been a fortune and sadly decided risk/reward said let it be.

I bought these to hopefully protect better than the oem sahara style ones that were on there currently. The owners manual states specifically to remove those plastic ones when wheeling, i think these jk 4121 will do well for the application at hand.
I'll post pis tomorrow.
