Default Which lift under 1k

Hi,

Im looking into buying a lift ideally it would be under $1000US delivered to Australia but I could be a bit flexible. I don't know a lot about suspension stuff so really have no idea where to start.

This is my DD and I use it for work so it needs to keep its on road handling and not cause my any problems. My off road work is mostly sand a bit of mud Im not that fussed about rock crawling but it'd be nice! I plan to run 33inch tyres.

My JK is a renegade.

I am thinking the terraflex 3 inch system, would I need an adjustable trackbar? Is this a good kit is it easy to install?

Thanks,

David

from what I read in this great site (last 2 month) i came to a conclusion that the 3"Black Diamond has one of the best values ($650)and you have included in this an adjustable front track bar . You could fit up to 35's with this set up .!!

I agree with you, but both the Teraflex and the Black Diamond are great kits. They are both a great price.

Thumbs up TeraFlex 3" lift

I like my 3" lift and would recommend it. I would buy the front adjustable track bar to keep the axle centered. A rear adjustable track bar is not necessary since the kit includes a drop down bracket to keep the rear axle centered. The 3" lift actually measures out to be a 4" suspension lift.

Another plus is that I have not had an issue with the ESP program activating.

The 3" Black Diamond (Superlift) is a great value. It rides and drives great on the road and is equally as impressive off road. For the money you can't beat it.

Would I have problems with the trackbars on my Jeep since it is a right hand drive?
