Default Help me decide.....

So, ill be getting new tires very soon and im debating on these 3....Trail Grapplers, KM2 or Toyos Open Countrys. First of all they will be in 17", i want the biggest 33 i can get, i know Trail Grapplers are 33.5 (295/70/17) which i like. I also would like the lightest 33 so if you know ea tires weight please inform me.... give me your pros and cons, its my DD. Thanx!!

I've got 265/70 17 toyo's and they're 63 lbs. each, pretty sure they're the heaviest of your three options. The toyo website has all the specs listed for every size available. Apart from the obscene weight, they're awesome tires, quiet on the road and killer traction in all surfaces I've used them on and they self clean really well. Haven't been in super sticky mud yet but I don't think they'll have a problem with it.

I love my Toyo M/T tires! They're great off road, on road and not very loud.
They're heavy and expensive but well worth it.

Default Tires

You should check out the kelly safari TSR, I really like these tires. They are fairly light, they are quiet, and have a 50k treadwear warranty.

In all those, toyos are the heaviest but also the best IMO. For light weight look into duratracs. My toyos have a LITTLE more lug spacing but the tread depth is equal and the duratrac lugs are positioned more aggressively.

325/65/18 duratrac next to a 37x13.5x15 toyo mt. Both are 95% tread or better.

Default Go nitto

I have the nitto terra grapplers and I'm constantly impressed with they're performance and durability. I'm anxious to buy a set of MT's and I'm considering all the same brands as you for my top 3. I want to know weight on Nitto trail grapplers vs. BFG KM2's as well! I'm leaning BFG because they have a size I want thats slightly bigger than what I can get to fit my rims in the Trail grappler.

I'm partial to the BFG KM2. Excellent performance for me on and off-road. Tallest 33 (17 rim) they sell is a 255/80-17 @ 33.3". I have the 16" version of that tire and they measure just over the spec on 7" rims. On the 8s now they measure about 33.125" at 35psi. Weight is 54lbs for the 255/80-17 KM2. (Wish they made a 265/85-17.)
