Default AEV 4.5" Premium, what else is needed

I've been looking into the AEV 4.5" premium lift and been considering switching to this kit. What I wanted to know when going with a lift this high is what else do you need to get for the ride quality and offroad capability?

I was thinking a new driveshaft, like tom woods, and maybe some eVo gussets to improve the 4dr X stock axels which are dana 30s?

Would a 4.5" lift and 35KM2s be to much for stock axels on an X?

Thanks in advance!

Reinforce axle C's and at least front driveshaft sooner than later if you have the auto. I have the aev high steer kit which I'm sure helps but I don't know what it would be like without it. It also depends how you drive it offroad, if aggressive you may want to think about front chromo axle shafts.

Your sig shows you are already sportin a 3.5" Rusty's. What are you aiming for by upgrading to 4.5" AEV?

I hear a lot of good things about the AEV kit, improvement of ride quality over stock. The rusty's kit is decent but a little rough. I'm also interested in a bit more of lift so another inch would be good.

Well, I can tell you that the AEV kit is GREAT, I have the 3.5in premium kit on my 2dr and love it. I also run 35in KM2's with 5.13's. In my opinion this is a great setup. Plus it's my DD, and it is a VERY nice on road ride. Go for it, you will not be disappointed.

AEV has a front drive shaft. If you're installing their kit, I would look into it. Also, something to consider, is that their lifts are designed for Jeeps with quite a bit of extra weight. If you do not have the bumpers, tire carrier winch and HT, you could easily see more than the 4.5 inches.

Cool, I'm thinking you already have a nice lift, if your goin to upgrade, go hardcore and save for the a LA kit.
