Im looking at a basic lift to get me by until I can afford something better. The price is so damn close and you get that little bit more with the rc but Ive heard nothing but praise for the tf leveling kit.

 

Well, I have the RC 2.5, and I like it just fine. But if I were to do it over I would get flat flares, extend my bump stops and then decide how high I really wanted to go after a while.

After lifting, getting tires and off roading, then seeing all the options there are out there I wish I would have done that. That's all I have to rant about. Good Luck. And try to make the best decision that suits your needs.

 

Dont be fooled by the RC price. It doesn't have bump stops, longer sway bar links for the rear, or drop brackets for the rear brake lines. Add about 75-100 minimum to the price.

Having installed both kits, I'd say the teraflex leveling kit is better quality.

I vote for the RC lift. If you get the 2.2 shocks, they have integrated bumpstops. I think the new kit comes with extended rear brake brackets. As far as the sway bar, I used the stock ones and have no issues.

 

We actually have a 4 different configurations of this kit to fit each individuals needs.

The series2 version is does include longer swaybar links, brakeline relocation brackets and rear track-bar relocation bracket. $179

 

179 is a great price.

 

I have had this 2.5 BB for 3 years now (w/ 2.2 shocks), no problems.. At such at low lift and pucks you are not going to find that much different..to boot, and such a low height you don't need much.. It's when you get into the coils and higher that I would really shop around.

 

I have been running a RC 2.5" Series II for about 8 months and have had zero issues or complaints.

 

does the ride change at all with the rc 2.5 II?
