Default Didn't need wheel spacers....bad teraflex

I just installed a teraflex performance leving kit. I like the kit but what a giant pain to torque control arm bolts while its on the ground. Not to mention the kit said I had to use wheel spacers. WRONG. I am running a 275/65/18 with lots of room to go without needing spacers. Why teraflex, why? I am now stuck with 2 new sets of wheels spacer unless I want to pay $50 to return them.

The torquing may be a pain but that's how you have to do it

Why don't you just put them on? They definitely improve the stance. Also if/ when you get larger tires you will need them.

I second that! Although they'd probably sell in less than a day.... They sure make the stance look much better!

Default Hmmm

Not that I am ragging on you but I cant remember Teraflex saying that with 275/65/18 tires you would need spacers. Unless they told you this specfically I am thinking this is not Teraflex's fault. I beleive they say you may need spacers as the majority of people put on bigger tires after a lift. My 265/75R16's rubbed my front sway bars without spacers so I needed spacers. Just trying to throw my feedback in.

You need spacers for 35x 12.5 tires. Not the stock ones.

Why is it hard to torque the control arm bolts while on the ground? You'd slide under the jeep, put it on the bolt and tighten, after using a regular ratchet to get it tight first.
