hey i just got my rockstars today and i said the same thing i think im going to cut the bolts and rethread them and cut the pipes down that the bolts go threw.

theres to much mud and other debris that can get caught up in there and break the cap off let me know if you have any ideas

cheers to the rims they look bad A on jeeps

I cut 1" off of the center cap plastic posts and it looks much better. They stick out right at 1/4" from the wheel now. I ordered brand new stainless steel bolts from McMaster Carr and it all turned out great. I just used a dremel with a cutoff wheel.

I was also told by a manager of Wheel Pros who distribute the XD's that they have a shorter cap so it will sit more flush to the wheel. The longer cap is for the 20's that have more off set, at least this is what he told me. I had already cut mine by the time he told me. May want to check with the place you got them from to see if this is true before you cut them.

Why don't you just leave the center caps off? If you prime/paint your hubs black, they look pretty cool.

I've seen them both ways and like the clean look of no center cap.

I can take a few outside with more detail this weekend but this is a decent shot:

I threw out my XD caps. Too much bling with them.

What bolts did you end up ordering. Thank you, I have the same issue and am having the hardest time finding bolts
