Default Oem radaitor fan, or aftermarket?

During my last extravaganza of wheeling I decided to cross some questionable ice.... It was a little bog pit my buddy's always go through so I knew it wasn't super deep. Well you guessed it. The ice broke and down goes the front end. The rad. Fan motor was not submerged but the blades were kicking around some water. Eventually some ice chunks made their way into the blades and jammed the fan. It let out some magic smoke..... :-( Now I have codes of fan circuit inop or something like that. Soooooooo...... Point of this thread is.... Do I spend the 130 some dollars on a dealer part or does anyone know of a good aftermarket electric fan? I found a wrecked jeep on eBay and they have the whole assembly for 104 bucks.

The oem fan is a piece of crap. You need to google Spal fan. I believe only one place sells it for around $250-$300. It's water, mud and snow proof. Highly recommended.
