Default Retainer Nut size on T-case and Axle

I am changing out my front driveline. Is this an unusual socket size that I'll need to remove the retainer nuts on the T-case and Axle when changing out the driveshaft with the new yoke adapters.

I installed a Tom woods about a month ago. I think I used a 1 1/4 and a 1 5/8. And I second that you have to use the lock tight.
