Default Long Road Trip = Shock Question?

Need Shock advice. I have been searching, but i am still not swayed. My wife and I are taking a road trip from Baton Rouge,La to the Grand Canyon. We will be putting on about 3,500 miles. We will also hit 4 or 5 trails on the way back home. I have a 2011 unlimited, teraflex 2.5 spring, front n rear bumpers, winch, 35 duratracs. I have had back surgery my wife needs it. I do not expect the Jeep to ride like a caddy. I need a good shock 95% on road 5% offroad. Any advice, lay it on me.

Put on a kidney belt. Seriously; it will help. I have one from the motorcycle gear that I use. I have had surgery on my spine (C6/7 - titanium plate) and still wheel and ride off road dirt bikes. The kidney belt really helps.

I like my OME nitro charged but they are on the firm side. Ive heard bilstein 5100's are a little on the softer side.

I am leaning towards the 5100's, but Bustabiz suggested the Rancho 9000 adjustable
