hey whats going on i picked up a set of side steps for my 2011 4 door jeep but the guy i bought it from didnt have the hardware and i called jeep and they said they dont sell it separate so does anyone know where i can get the mounting hardware (meaning the nuts and bolts) for these side steps? there the plastic stock side steps!

 

You can get everything u need from a hardware store. Home depot/ lowes, or local store. Metric u nuts, body bolts , and nuts. All surprisingly small.

 

Pep boys has them.

(6) M8x1.25x30mm body bolts
(4) M8x1.25 u-nuts
(12)M6x1.0 washered nuts

 

You CAN get them from Jeep, but they want $50 for the set. Auto parts store will be $20-25.

 

i called jeep and they told me its not sold separate..

 

I spoke to the parts dept. at my dealer down here, and they said they could get them for me.........for $50. And that is without the u nuts. Here is a link to a forum vendor that sells MOPAR parts, but it is still expensive. And yes, that price is EACH washered nut!

Not sure what jeep you have but the hardware for mounting rubi rails are the same for mounting the steps.
