I bedlined my stockers with the duplicolor spray on stuff after scratching them up on rocks. The bedliner covered the scratches pretty well, but the finish got a little "ashy" after a little while. No worries though because I then coated it some rustoleum flat black and things were all good again.

It def looks cool. Just keep in mind the limitations with the stock wheels. If youre wanting to go bigger than 33's you'll need to get aftermarket wheels with 4.5in of backsapcing or less to fit. Or you could add spacers. Just thought i'd throw that info out.

When I decided to do mine I was thinking the same thing.. I'm just going to spray them until I need new tires then I'll buy some soft 8's but I'm not sure now. I really like them.
Mine were just done so I haven't experienced any dulling or ashy residue yet but like previous poster stated I'll just hit them with the rattle can again!

Why do you want to do it over Duplicolor wheel paint vs. the bedliner paint.
If you use the wheel paint can you clear coat them with a matte finish or only clear?
When you use bedliner do you clear coat them as well? what steps will you do in applying bedliner?

I want to do the same thing on my 18'' sahara stocks but iwould like to know the better of the two methods of making rims Black.....
