Default Rancho Skid Removal

I asked awhile ago, but didn't get a solution. Does anyone know how to remove the Rancho oil pan skid? I have another complete skid pkg and would like to get the Rancho one off. As a last resort, I can get a new pan, but any ideas? I used the adhesive they sent with the skid.

Have you tried some goof off or another adhesive remover?

Remove the pan and heat it with a torch to soften the sealant? I'm not sure how high the temp rating is on that stuff though?

Someone might even trade with you for their stock one.

I haven't seen anyone able to get it off without damaging th oilpan. I suggest trading someone for a stock oilpan, or buying a new one and selling the old one. I have the same skid and am just about to put it on. I'd swap with you straight across if we were closer...

If you have to pull the pan its a waste to try and get the skid off. Just buy a new pan and sell your old pan/skid combo...

xylene would probably work if you could spray alittle between pan and skid. I use it at work all the time at to release contact glue. Just an idea.

I didn't think there was a good way to get it off. Trading with someone in the Tucson area would be the ticket. I guess buying a new pan is the next best.
