Default Any issues with a TF 2.5 coil lift and 2 inch spacer?

We just finished installing the TF 2.5 inch coil lift, TF shocks and TF LCA and we used the 2 inch spacers from the BB that was originally on the 08 JK 4dr. With the Garvin roof rack the JK as .5 inches of clearance thru the garage door...

Has anyone done the 2.5 inch coil lift with 2 inch spacer? Are there any issues with doing this?

thanks

Doug

I will post pics tomorrow.

I will take some pictures with the 4.5 inch lift.

Based on my readings about the issues with the drive shaft angle I will probably take the 2 inch spacers out.

Also if everything came with the 2.5 kit then all your brake lines and bump stops will be too short for a 4.5" lift

I believe that Teraflex 2.5 coil actualluy gives u 3 or more up front so ur lift up front would be 5 inches at least. As planman says u need a lot more stuff to run that. If u want more lift, get some 3/4 inch spacers front and back to install on top of your coils or a little extra height, this would be much easier to do and u could use your current shocks, brake relocation brackets and stock control arms as long as you dont mind steering a little flighty. U still are going to have to think about ds though.

Please take some pics now with the spacers in. I'm looking at installing 1.75 spacers on my front 2.5 TF coils. I'm going to go with the AEV brackets $109.00 to bring my castor back to "some" reasonable level. If I don't like it I can go to 1" spacer. or 3" TF coils up front which are another 1" taller then our 2.5 coils.... Either way I'm going up for sure.

I'm also getting the OME LT shocks when I go this route. Brake line extensions, and most likely sway bar links.

The AEV bracket is useable in my application. From the front axle spring pearch to the frame is six inches now, After the spacer install I'll be at 7.75 inches. You can "use" the bracket between 7-9 inches. I can "not" recommend this to anyone else until I try it myself.
There are better ways to do it as mentioned above from planman
