J.E. Reel drive line, whats the difference
I have a 2.5 inch suspension lift currently and am thinking of going to a 4 inch. I have 35inch nittos and would like to upgrade the driveline when i order the suspension lift.
What is the difference between the 1310, the 1310 heavy duty and the 1350. I would obviously be replacing both.
Is there anything i need to look out for, or be carefull of.
Thanks

The 1310 replaceents do just that, replace the factory shafts with slightly tougher stuff. The- 1310 upgrade- replaces the entire CV assemblywith the U-joints on both ends of shafts. the 1350's are basically one ton driveshafts that will take a lickin and keep on tickin. If your not running larger than 35's the 1310's are fine, but there is nothing wrong with going big if you have big dollars.
Also keep this in mind:
I run 1310's in the front and 1350's in the rear on my Tom Woods Shafts.
You can easily get away with this, as you don't really need the 1 tons in the front. You can also save yourself some money by doing it this way from any manufacturer. If you run 37's, I would highly recommend the 1350's for the rear.

I think he was trying to say that the 1310 heavy duty replaces the factoy yokes at the t-case and the pinion with heavy duty yokes. All of the Reel shafts replace the factory CV joints with u-joint CVs at 1 end and a single u-joint at the other.
Anybody make a 1350 with stock flanges for front and rear (Unlimited.) I'm going to order some shafts in the next day or two, and I'd prefer to stick with the stock flanges so I can use my stock shafts as trail spares.
