Default 70th anniversary wheels - sell, keep, or use?

I've factory ordered a silver w/ silver hardtop 70th anniversary unlimited (mainly because I wanted black leather..I was going to get a sahara but in 2011 only brown leather is available). I planning immediately get aftermarket wheels/tires before I even left the dealership as my dealership will give a cash back credit for factory wheels/tires.

Options:
1. sell the wheels to dealership and get new wheels and tires. But, would I get better resale value for the jeep by keeping the special edition wheels?

2. use the wheels (ditch the tires), get Goodyear Duratracs with 1.5" spacers

3. Keep and store the wheels/tires for resale with jeep later, and buy new wheels and tires.

I'd be getting black xd rockstars with Goodyear Duratrac.

I wish I would have spent the money on bigger tires instead of rims, I think the factory rims look and work just fine. I kept my factory rims just incase.

If you sell it stock it will have held more value and appeal to a more broad market. So IMO keep all stock parts

Choice # 3. This is a "Special Edition", so it is worth more with the factory package. They will add to the future collectible status, so save..

I got $1000 for my regualr Rubicon wheels and tires with virtually no wear. I'd think yours would be worth more. Jeep has always made so many "special editions" that, years later, they aren't worth any more than regular models. I'd see what the dealer will give you and what you think the private market would offer and use the cash for aftermarket stuff. I love my Duratracs, btw.

hmmm...so I think I'll keep them or use them...

Do you think they'll look weird with 1.5" spacers and Duratracs? since the wheels are pretty plain/smooth whereas the Duratracs look really aggressive.

7-spoke polished. This is the only real-life picture I've seen so far from another forum...

Oops meant 7. Yeah those are NOT my cup of tea. You could get a good amount for them though.
