15" cragar soft 8s - caliper not clearing
Just a warning to those who are running the 15x8 cragar soft 8s. I rotated my tires today and drove around a bit and heard some scraping/grinding while driving. It was only on my drivers side front wheel, so I took a look and sure enough the top and bottom of the caliper was touching the wheel. So I took off the wheel, grinded the caliper a little and put it back on. Same thing. But then I realized it was only in certain parts of the wheel where there was rubbing. So I put my spare on instead and it clears just fine. So I'm thinking the wheel is a little defective. I did notice that the calipers are extremely, extremely close to the wheel so I'll be grinding more when I get a chance. But I think I'll be replacing the wheel as well.
BTW, I have the 15x8s with 4" backspacing. Sorry, no pics but just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case they run into similar issues. After you get any 15" wheels it might be a good idea to examine your front caliper clearance and have someone listen as you drive by for any noises. I had looked at the calipers when I first mounted them but didn't see any contact.

I don't have any corners on my rims
No, I know what you're asking... I have the Unique (Crager) 252 streetlocks and have no issues but they are close on the front calipers. The clearence seems to be about even all the way around for me. Guess I got lucky...

man, i wish i had some pictures to show you. from what i can tell, it is just the top and bottom tips of the caliper you need to watch for and may need to grind.
when you do get your jeep, i would jack up the front, take the stock tires off, test fit all your wheels on the front. bolt them on and rotate them completely around to ensure there's no contact. you'll see exactly what i'm referring to. no need to worry about the back because there's plenty of clearance.
