Anyone having rust issues with ARB deluxe winch bumber
I have installed an ARB Deluxe winch bumper about 2 years ago. Now I have rust where the (stock) fenders are touching the bumper: the space between is just enough for some sand to get stuck there and act as sanding paper. Where the powder coating used to be there is now rust. To me that's a design flaw
Also the whole bumper is covered with little blisters showing evidence that there is an issue with the powder coating.
The reseller is now denying warranty claims since the the bumper is not used correctly because it has some dents and scratches (not to be related to any for mentioned issues)
. Duh! This is a Jeep bumper, not a Lexus bumper! It is advertised to be able to cope with off road use!
I hope ARB is listening here since the reseller is not helping very much. Not that is should matter but until recently I used to be a huge ARB fan (I also have the OME lift kit and Safari Snorkel)

They are listening! Just got an email from the reseller; ARB will swap my bumper. And so they have reinstated my trust in this brand and the reseller.
Thought is was just fair to update you on this matter after sharing my complaints with you ;-)

As a noob coming into Jeeping / offroading / overlanding I didn't percieve ARB as being anything special... just another parts maker... with pretty high prices..
By chance, I ended up getting one of their bumpers used.. and fell in love with it. I purchased their recovery gear... and couldn't imagine it being made better... I installed an OME lift (some relation?) and love it too..
And then your story here... It's official. I'm an "ARB man"

I had a gentleman come in today asking me to cut rust out of arb rear bumper & refinish. I pointed out that that area is the worst but the rest of bumper was also rustin in many areas. I emailed tech @arbusa.com pictures. I got a response right away. I email said it looked bent from being damaged. I explained that it was not bent but rusted so badly that the metal was taking a different shape. Next email said sorry we cant help. My opinion bad metal typical aftermarket poor quality prep. Very sad. This guy rally keeps truck nice & paid alot of money for front & back bumpers
