Default Question for N-Fab wheel to wheel step owners

I'm trying to decide what to get that might help my vertically challenged wife and young kids, and these are on my short list.

My question for the tall guys is do you hit your leg on them when you get out? I had some factory chrome nerf bars, and I would rub the back of my leg (and of course get dirty). From the way it looks like the step sticks out, the same thing would happen with the N-Fab.

Is it an issue?

I got mine for my wife and kid. I don't use them but step around them. Sometimes when the Jeep is really dirty, dirt will rub off the bars while jumping out. Not sure it wouldn't happen with any bars that stick out enough to be a step...

FWIW, my DW is also vertically challenged and ours had the factory mounted step on it when we got it.
Works very nicely.
Shortly, Im changing them out for LOD sliders with a step.
Hope this helps.

I have mine on for my wife. Without it she could not get into the JK. I use mine once in awhile, as I am only 5' 9", but usually just step into the rig. In getting out, I just step beyond it. It does not protrude that far that it becomes an obstacle.

Have you looked at the n-fab rock rails? They are much the same, but have steps which can be removed when you go off road.
