Default Wheel adapter opinions.

Hey guys. I've been stalking the forum for about 4 months now. I got rid of my 8mpg Silverado and got into the Jeep world with my 2007 JKU Sahara. I love it. Just put a 2.5" Teraflex lift on. And now I'm deciding between a couple wheel options. The only thing is, one set doesn't come in 5x5 bolt pattern. But I'm really stuck on them. I was just trying to get all opinions on wheel adapters so I can run these.

I did a "5x5 to 5x5.5 adapter" search on google to find brands, but have not decided on any particular brand. Im basically wondering:
Yes or no?
If yes, which brand?
How much further out will is set my stance?
Pros and cons?

Default I have them

Search for Spidertrax 5x5 to 5x5 1/2, that is the manufacturer that has the best reputation for spacers. I bought a set because I needed them to run my Walker Evans beadlocks on the stock axles before I upgraded to my 1 ton axles. I used the spacers once, put them on, put the new wheels and tires on, drove to a shop and had the tires and wheels balanced, drove home and took everything off. I had planned on running the rims/tires and spacers longer, but the 40" tires were too much for the stock 4.10 gears. I just waited until my Pro Rock 60 axles were under then put the 40"s back on with no need for spacers.

I have a set of Spidertrax as well. You may want to see if you can increase the backspacing of the rims you want to get if the spacers will push out your wheels too much. In addition...you can get several thicknesses on the spacers. Mine are
1.5", but I know they have other thinner ones as well.

You will definitely be able to get the spacers you want. They work awesome. Just torque them correctly and then check them in 300 miles. Then just check the torque each time you rotate your tires.

$200 for a set of 4...not really cheap, but if they do what you need them to do, go for it.

I think you mean "decrease" backspacing, not increase. Stocks are 6.25... you want to be closer to 4.5
