Stock spare carrier mod
Thought id share... Thought it pretty nifty and didnt see where anyone else had posted!
Went to 35s and added the teraflex spare tire relocation bracket with the teraflex gate bump stops for larger tires. Those work great at stopping movement left to right.
To stop movement on the top/bottom of thr tire I used the stock bumpstops to add two extra contact points with the tire. Drilled two holes in the bottom 2 legs of the alum carrier and put them there(with the help of some adhesive and rtv to fill in the voids) The 35 is now as stout as it can be with zero vibration driving or closing the gate.
