I wasn't going to pay a lot for a bumper, and since I got the TJ bumpers free, well, you can't get a better price then that!

well really I just sat the TJ bumper up on the frame mounts and measured where I needed to cut the bottoms (the TJ bumper isn't tall enough to go over them) then just took a SawzAll to them and then a grinder with a cutting blade on. Basically if you look close, you can see that under the towhooks there is no bottom of the bumper, that is all I had to cut out.

then just lined it up, marked the holes for the towhooks (since they are the main mounting bolts too) and then drilled out the holes. didn't take much time at all. Then I used some Bed Liner spray paint and painted the TJ bumper, the Tow Hooks and the little plastic thing between the bumper and grill. I also sprayed my rear bumper too, just see what it would look like, and I dig it, so next will be my sliders and fenders.

That is one of the best looking bumpers I've seen on a JK. It's simple and rugged. Other than the smaller size, the front bumpers are the only thing I envy about TJ's.

Wow, glad everyone likes it so far. I was expecting to get slammed for it.

Haha, only .NET developers seem to get my tags. Yep, .net developer. Mostly web apps now. The tag is really "code net", but I added the dot with a sharpie.

I plan on putting the TJ rear bumper on as well, but I have do a lot more cutting to take the existing brackets off so it will fit. and my gf was getting mad at all the noise from the front bumper. It would actually be more easy put another TJ front bumper on the rear then the TJ rear one. the bolts for the trailer hitch will have to come through the TJ bumper, but I think that would actually look pretty cool, If I can line it up correctly and drill out the wholes perfect it may look really good.
