Default PSI Goodyear Duratrac's

Put Goodyear Duratracs 285/75/R16 on my JK, 4 wheel parts put them at 38 PSI, seems high? Id like to get some insight on the best PSI for street driving and off road...thanks!

I have 285/70/17 duratrac's in load range D. The best psi on my unlimited is 30 psi, verIfied by a chalk test. I don't air down wheelin. 38 is high, but depending if your tires are load E or D, i would start around 32, and work your way down.

They're load E, rough ride...

Ill put them down to 32 and test em, go from there. thanks. For wheelin', i do a lot of AZ rock climbing so Id like to go lower for that, 20 PSI. I dont have bead locks though so Im worried about that...
