A friend of mine has had 3 vehicles actually run into his MTR-Ks at speeds of 15-35 mph and they are still going strong. They are awesome on the trails too.

Toyo Open Country MT's - tough as nails, and other than being reported as expensive and heavy, I have yet to find a bad review on them. Good on the highway, in rocks, trails, etc.

Thumbs up Cooper STT's...

Cooper STT's are an agressive MT.. but not nearly as "heavy" as the Toyo MT's.
The STT's actually do quite well in the rain and snow, rocks, And yes the mud too.
They make a little noise but definately acceptable even with the top off..

i would have to say something like the cooper SST's or the Toyo's MT,, i don't run either but for a all around tire it would be my vote

My Cepek Mud Country tires have performed well so far and are very quiet at highway speeds.

Someone has to say it. Goodyear duratracs. Cats meow. It's an AT/MT hybrid, and works well in all real world situations. If you are a avid rock crawler in an area with sharp stones, people say the sidewalks are a little thin. I've had mine jammed in ruts full of roots and shale with no issues though.

Don't even look at full blown mt's if you want a good all around tire.

And what's an mtr km2?
