Default AEV snorkel silicone

Is this the right silicone to
Use
To
Seal the air box ? I know it says for metal but the guys at the hardware store said it would work. Though I just want to be sure

I used the Black RTV Sealant thats used for diff covers. not too sure if that would adhere to plastic or not

^^^ Ditto with the Black RTV Sealant. Try a test on that stuff on some plastic and see how it adheres???

What I bought was in a similar tube, but I thought it said for plastic. They had about a dozen different color tubes and products from that one vendor.

Also dont forget the seal the bottom of the Air box too, may be a good place to test it on the plastic to see if that sealant works. Oh and extend your breather tubes
