Currently have Mickey atz. Looking at all types of 37x13.5r18s and nitto mud grapplers looks pretty sweet any down falls to them for a daily driver other than the noise?

I have never had them, but a buddy of mine did. He drove on the highway an average amount and they wore rather quickly.

I do not have Nittos but I do drive almost 30 miles each way Mon-Fri (Fullerton to Torrance CA) with 37 x 13.50 x 16 Super Swamper M16's and they are fine. The only real downside is with the 37's and 5.13's the jeep really does not like to go much more than 75 mph which with So-cal traffic has not been much of an issue over the last year!!

They are very loud and do not last long as a DD. Now in the Mud they are awesome

Speaking of Mud Grapplers? I am thinking about a set myself. I heard they last about 30 to 40,000 miles on a lighter 2 door Jeep with proper rotations. I put on about 12,000 a year... so thats pretty good.

I have the Nitto Mud Grapplers 37x 13.5 x 17 with AEV Pinter Beadlocks. Discount matched the internet prices. I absolutely love them and use my Jeep as a DD. 2010 Rubicon 4 Door Auto with 5.38 gears.

I run my doors and hardtop most of the time. They are noisy but not as noisy as some others on the road. Friends say they can hear me coming 2 blocks away. I love the sound and it is not loud with the top and doors on.

I use mine for rock crawling on the weekends and I have not been beaten on a climb yet in dirt, snow or rocks. They are the best tire in my mind. I air down to 8 psi when off road.
I have 8,000 miles on them and I think I will get about 25-30k before I will need new ones.

If you run the proper air pressure(do the chalk test), and rotate them regulary, every 4000 miles on mine, they do NOT wear quick. I have 22k miles on my mud grapplers, and have 60 - 70% tread left. Yes they are very loud but not too bad with the hardtop. I can still use my unconnect on the highway. I should get 40-45k miles out of these.

I have them. They are loud but wear is pretty good. But I have a 2 door. I also have 35 BFG at's on some other rims that I run most of the time to preserve the mud grapplers
