Default cutting mopar floor liner?

I have yet to install my new floor liner (mopar brand) that replaces the factory carpet. I will be doing this in the next month or so. I have seen pictures and PMed some people but have had no response.

I am curious about those of you who did it.... how did you cut holes in your mopar liner to fit the drain plugs through them? I have very leaky doors when the soft top is on and would like to do this.

Here is a link to a member's pictures of his cut liner. He hasn't been on in a while. -

Are the plugs thick enough to fit through the liner and the floor?

What tools did you use to cut through that thick liner?

Did you do it from the top or the bottom?
