What is the Best Lift?
I recently went offroading at Rausch Creek in PA and found that my Rubicon did pretty well with the parts that came with it. However, I was bottoming out a lot...Thank God for skid plates!
I am in secure of the best type and manufacture lift for my dollar. Does anyone have suggestions or opinions on this matter?

That depends on you..
If you looking to stay around 2"...OME with track bars & can run 35s. Anything bigger, TeraFlex is what you’re looking for. From there you can look into 3"-4" short arm or long arm. If you have a 2-door, you will need to be looking at front & rear driveshaft’s.

Alot of this depends on your needs and use. I personally did alot of research also and it isn't easy trying to find the best bang for your buck. All of the big names are good, they all have positives and negatives. I wanted to run 37's, though initially I might only run 35's, but I only wanted to lift once. I wanted a short arm kit and my jeep is a daily driver so in reality...it spends most of its time on road. I ended up going with the trailmaster 5" kit. It has all the arms, lift, shocks and driveshafts for a very reasonable price. As a matter of fact, Northridge has it for $2200.00. I haven't received it, just ordered it today so I'll keep you posted.
Good luck, it isn't an easy decision though.

My own research led me to choose AEV's Premium Lift Kit, available in both 3.5" & 4.5" sizes. It's very well thought out & engineered, and includes some nice features, like steering & control arm geometry changes, and a ProCal module for correcting tire size, pressures, etc, in the computer for seepometer & shift points, etc.
All in all, VERY happy with this choice!

A 5" kit for 35's???
Why so tall? You can still run 37's with a 2.5"-3" lift and flats.
As for the OP, again - its all about what you're planning on doing with it. As many have said, the 2.5" Teraflex kit is a great one, especially for an all around lift. They have great quality components, and at that height, you're not getting overly tall and into the range where you'll have to start replacing driveshafts, etc. Other good options are also Rock Krawler and OME.

What size tires are you planning to run? It would help to know in recommending a lift. Also, what's your budget? There are 2.5" bare bones lifts at a few hundred dollars, long arm lifts at several thousand, then the in between.
Read the stickies - lots of good information there on lifts and associated upgrades you may need.
For companies, quite a few good ones. I am running TeraFlex. Love its performance on road, off road, and the support. I would buy them again.
My list of lifts that I would consider are:
TeraFlex
Northridge OME Long Travel Kit
Full Traction
Rock Krawler
You can drive your self nuts with all the possibilities, but if you go with one of these you will be good IMO
I went 2.5" fwiw. I am planning on 35s, and will go flat fenders if I need 37s. I prefer to maintain a low COG and good on road manners
