Default Teraflex 1.5 Leveling kit and OME shocks ROCK!

I just installed this combination with the help of some very nice peeps from the forum. I picked this combo because I wanted to return to stock height after the install of bumpers and a rack.
BEFORE: noticed a lot of bouncing around and harshness while going over even the smallest potholes/bumps. Noticed my top creaking more while driving and many more noises emanating from the body of the Jeep.
AFTER: I drove my usual route and made sure to keep the tires in the ruts, potholes the semis have made (the ones I used to avoid) and noticed the Jeep is much more controlled and less bouncy. The bumps were smoothed out very well by the shocks. The most shocking revelation was the fact I could hear my tire noise again. There had been so many creaks and rattles that developed they had drowned out everything else. The Jeep is quieter and feels more controlled. I probably netted about 1 to 1.5" of suspension travel in the front and the same in the back after the kit because I went with the 2 door kit for my 4 door. I did not want a lift, just my suspension travel back and to control the added weight better and I feel I have achieved this.

sounds like it worked out well for you...
why did you want to keep stock height...
i ask because i want a small lift...2.5 or 3 ...
but i don't want to lose the stock ride which is great.

I wanted to keep it at stock height until the warranty runs out, and I wanted to maintain the ride.
