Default Opinion: Teraflex 2.5" BB

I hear from a lot of people that adding spacers in a BB is not good for wheeling. They say that the springs pop out easily.

So, for your opinions: I want to lift my Jeep and my long term plan is to eventually get a Full Traction Ultimate 3" lift, but in lieu of that, I'd like to have it lifted to run 35"s and for extra clearance... so, do you all think that the Teraflex BB would be a good intermediate lift, and would it cause any problems that I would need to rectify before adding the FT lift?

The Teraflex has 3 options, I reccomend getting the one with the shock adaptors, You can also check this out http://quadratec.com/sb/TeraFlex/JK_Lift_Kits.htm
*NOTE* I do not know if you need an alignment when done

2.5" BB for 179.99 no shock adaptors

2.5" Budget Boost with OE Shock Adapters 225.99

2.5" Budget Boost with Shocks 364.99

Do the stock track bars work with a BB? Or will the axle still be uncentered.

The axles will be uncentered if you use the stock trackbars. I have the Tera BB with shock adapters. Im more then happy with the stock rubi shocks. My axles are not centered, but Im not worried about it. It drives perfectly straight and no ESP issues. I really cant even tell the difference from the stock ride. I did not get it aligned, I only re-cenetered the steering wheel.

I vote for coil spring lifts for max articulation! I love my Rusty's, the ride is great and it is higher than the 2" in front.

Nope. In fact, I thought I was going to need to recenter my steering wheel but I didn't even need to do that. Of course, every Jeep is different and you may need to recenter your yours but that is all you need to do. So, please, save your money and do not take your Jeep to an alignment shop just to have them do something that takes 5 mins of your time and a 15mm wrench

Sincerely,
Eddie
