Why swap a 30 for a 30?

And I don't know shut about tj's, so I can't help.

No, they're narrower and the control arm mounts are different among other things. Add to that the fact that a TJ D30 is low pinion and why would you want to.

He's probably talking about the axles, not the whole diff assembly.
